Hunter Mick Langley damascus 10 3/4" 5 3/4" Curly Maple forged g/butt carved leather by Butch Post $500
Mick was the first Canadian to obtain his MS. He was mentored by many of the great ABS makers and this Hunter is a great example of his talents.
Utility Gunnar Momcilovic O1 6 3/4" 3" Italian Cow N/S guard fancy leather sheath $375
This Norwegian maker often displays at the Knifemakers Guild show but not in 2008 and I enjoy his work immensely. This is typical O1 with fine workmanship.
Integral Hunter Bud Weston 440C 9 1/4" 4 1/2" Desert Ironwood leather sheath $475
Bud Weston, originally of Czech Republic spent many years in Canada before returning to his homeland. He began knifemaking in my hometown and I purchased his first knife he sold at a knife show which I still have and intend to keep. However, my drawer of Canadian knives is full so one has to go even though this integral is a great piece by a maker who now specializes in folders and primarily sells in Europe.
Fighter Karl Anderson forged W1 12 1/4" 7 1/2" African Blackwood wrought iron $575
All of you know Karl in CKCA and BF and here is an opportunity to obtain a rare knife. It is his usual takedown style but unique in that the guard and butt are both made from Wrought Iron which is why there is the slight space on the guard typical of wrought iron.
