Hey all,
The handle design on this one was inspired by the Spartan sword from the movie "300". I don't know what inspired the blade. ;-)

I was trying to go for a sort of aged look with this one.

Steel: L6, forged. Blade has been treated with mustard.

Hardness: about 60 RC

Blade length: 16.5"

Total length: 22-3/8"

Blade thickness: about 9/32" at guard

Handle material: Resin soaked dark brown hemp cord over a wood core.

Fittings: deeply etched wrought iron.

Price: $700 + $20 shipping

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send paypal to 2000pjp at gmail dot com
If using a check, allow 10 business days for it to clear before shipment. Please make sure knife is still available before sending payment. :-)

No scabbard made for this one. If you want one, it will cost extra.

Thanks for looking!

That looks like a weapon straight out of antiquity, blessed with modern techno-magic that would send all the 5'0" warriors to flight, right after giving it an awesome name, like 'Souldrinker'.

The fusion of Seax, Cutlass, and Bowie, with Falcata or Kopis handles is fantastic; and that forced patina using mustard looks great, and might make it the most delicious blade ever forged. :D

ALSO: That forge-welded Damascus Seax from a couple weeks ago was one of the coolest things I've seen on Bladeforums. Brilliant work.
