I handled an SOG powerplier today (sent to me by accident, instead of the SOG powerlock).

I am unimpressed.

Non-locking components.
"bite effect."
STIFF pivot action, (i thought this was one-hand opening via 'balisong' swing!?!)

I haven't used it, but it appears to be that the components were cheaply/poorly executed.

To it's defense, the plier head seems to be built very solid.

:(

Hopefully, you'll like the PowerLock much better.

The pivot of the tool seems to loosen up over time, and I can flip mine open bali style quite easily.

Please let us know how you like the Powerlock once it arrives.
