Monterrey Bay Knives did the work on this Gemini.

DNA Lasering I believe did this one. I didn't have it done myself, the previous owner did. It's pretty sweet, I like it, however it does have a couple quarks. Apparently the previous owner sent it to DNA, had it lasered, got it back and didn't like it because he got their standard lasering job, and he was expecting the "deep lasering". So he ended up sending it back to DNA and they deep lasered over the existing job. That made the pattern ever so slightly off. You can't really tell unless you look really close and compare it to pics of other knives they've done. However the other thing is the knife was bead blasted when sent, and the texture changed a bit in different areas of the knife. It's normal bead blast on most, but towards the top corners it's more smooth and glossy.

So, I recommend DNA, just make sure you have your plan set, choose which one you want and stick with it. 🤙

Off or not, it looks cool to me.

Thanks bro! I've been meaning to probably give it a little scotch brite finish, and then anodize it blue to make the flat parts pop a bit more. One of those winter projects haha. That MBK done Gemini looks sweet!
Hey can I get in on the list if you ever get tired of this beauty? After the anodizing of course😉

Yes sir, you got the number 1 spot! It may be a little while till I anodize and maybe get tired of her though. So far, this go around of the hobby, I've been allergic to selling knives haha. However I do plan to change that before too long.

I know what you mean about wanting to keep all of them, but I’ve come to appreciate those that add to beauty. Are you set up for anodizing with a dedicated power source or are you using batteries?

You're welcome and thanks to you too!

Knife Modders did the anodization before MBK did the laser work. They are friends and seem to be frequent collaborators. Knife Modders also did the custom milling and anodization on this WE Beacon for me. (Can you tell green is my favorite color?)

Yea it's a rough one when you decide you should sell off a few isn't it? That's a good way to go about it, those that add beauty to the collection. There sure are a lot of pretty knives out there my friend!

I'm not set up for anything yet as far as anodizing goes haha. My last hobby was audio though and I did quite a bit with messing around with electricity and what not. I have a few power supplies that I'd use to convert 12v audio gear into home audio, however my power supplies aren't quite beefy enough to get those high voltage colors. So, I'll need to get a decent variable power supply and do some practicing before I hop into some of the knife projects I've wanted to do.

Ooh yea, that WE is nice man! Yea I've seen a lot of what Knife Modders does and they are masters at their craft for sure. It's cool to see a younger couple doing it together and succeeding too. I really like some of the titanium finishes and grooving they do like yours. I didn't know MBK and them worked together on projects like that, that's cool. MBK looks like they're killing it too. One of these days I'll break and get one of their knives. I really like that new Rosalinda.
