Leather suppliers?

Forgive me Gents, I can't seem to find the thread that lists a few different leather suppliers... My current supplier has dried up. I went to Tandy yesterday, and was quite disappointed at the costs. Does/can anyone recommend a leather supplier thats not too expensive for making sheaths?

I go to Saderma in Los Angeles ... prices are very reasonable and the quality good.

I used Siegel for a couple years. FANTASTIC leather at averaging about 25% less than Tandy's sale prices for seconds.

Unfortunately, for the past 18 months I've had real issues with the filling of orders. If they are back in functional operation and delivering, then that would work out. But call, don't order over the web.

note: looking at the website, I'm not seeing their usual supply of double shoulders and sides.

+1 for Siegel of California. I get my veg-tan horse leather from them. Prices are good and the product as well. Service is back to normal, they downsized a bit and moved locations. I think they're getting back to business.
