I'm looking for a leather "classy looking" wallet with a slim profile to be carried in my rear pocket. Any ideas. I only carry three credit cards, License, Insurance card, and Cash.

Thanks

My wife bought me a Filson wallet last year made from "bridal leather". It's holding up well so far and looks very classy.

My previous wallet was a leather "Amity" bilfold that lasted over 20 years.

I carry a dockers "card wallet" I bought from Kohls. Its designed to hold just that- cards.

It's super thin and I barely notice it. It folds in half so I can stuff some cash in there if need be (I generally carry cash in a money clip anyway.

That would be "bridle leather." Just to avoid confusion....
Thanks for pointing out that spelling error. At least I made a real word, and there could be such thing as "bridal leather". Some interesting imagery going on upstairs now...

The city wallet, also known as a taxi wallet, is a clever solution that makes its own problems. It is not very big around but it is thick. If you put coins in the coin compartment, it is very thick.

How about a rayskin wallet? They are fairly thin and hold up extremely well.

Im currently using a Bosca Small Wallet (http://www.boscaonline.com/mens-small-wallet-100-product.html) . Its a rather slim wallet that holds alot. I have about 11 different cards in there along with a few bills. For coins i use a ray skin mission wallet (http://www.bladeart.com/mission-tac/mission_wallet/mission_wallet.htm) The mission wallet also holds a Vic Pioneer, space pen and chapstick. Most of the time ill keep the Mission wallet in my messenger bag and the Bosca in the front pocket of my pants/jeans.

Happy Hunting!

For your needs, a money clip-type wallet sounds ideal. By this, I mean one that is a leather base for holding cards and such, with a metal clip centered at the bottom for bills. Many have ID windows too, which are very convenient. I used one of these for a long time to allot space for the Spydie Yojimbo that also sees constant pocket time.

One word, my friend: Hartmann. Belting leather, not the black stuff. Very nice, very classy, and weathers to a beautiful patina. For those seeking a rugged "bomb-resistent" wallet, I'd suggest a Rayskin wallet (Adam Unlimited makes a good one), or the Cape Buffalo one. Very nice, and somewhat cost effective.
