Just got the pocket clip for my leatherman wave. Anyone else carry it with a clip? I seem to like it because now I no longer need a belt to carry it. Deep carry which is nice but it's just slightly too close to tool for jeans you gotta bend it just slightly or it tears the pocket.

Best pocket clip of any I own, including those on some of my knives, and they're not bad at all. I carry my Leatherman several different ways, depending on what's up for the day, but carrying by pocket clip is secure, felt weight is minimal, it doesn't catch on stuff and doesn't chew my pocket lip like all the others. I think it is a great design.

I use that clip on my Wave as well. I do not like 99% of the clips leatherman makes or has put on their tools, but at least its a option. The only clip/tool I love from Leatherman is the Sideclip. The clip is actually oriented on the proper side to be carried in the left front pocket and the clip lays well on the tool. The Sideclip is not very heavy so I never would worry about it jumping out of my pocket.

I have the clip on my TTI ad I have to say it is definitely one of the best clips I've come across for something as heavy as the TTi is.

I tried it and did not prefer it. Its just too heavy a tool for the pockets on my jeans, and especially the pockets on khakis or similar pants. It does work well in the front pockets of my bibs or overalls when I am working in the yard, but I don't wear those away from the house very often.
