I had the pliers on a Leatherman Fuse start to sieze up on me, I had to push them open and closed with a bit of effort so the tool was not useable. I ended up sending the tool in for warranty work. I love my Fuse because it has a normal shaped phillips screwdriver rather than the flat phillips-like tip on some multitools, and it has all of the tools I need and none of the tools I don't.

Since they had discontinued the Fuse and they typically replace if they can't repair I was expecting to get a Wingman or something with a sub-par screwdriver and a bunch of stuff I'd never use. They were able to fix the tool, hassle free, and had it back to me in less than a week.

Thanks for taking care of me, Leatherman!

Im sending in my Fuse this week, after having the tip of the Phillips broken off by a coworker (how he did it while punching through drywall I dont know) and I am anxious that they wont be able to fix, but I did specify that if replaced I would like a full Phillips.

That's great, I have two of the original leatherman sideclips, one is a ducks unlimited version one, I may sell it..., I can't use two at the same time..;)

Awesome warranty IME, had to take my Surge and Juice for repairs and they were fast, nice, awesome and Tim himself got to engrave them for me! LM is great as far as warranties goes, really.
