So I reciently purchased a Leatherman Juice S2. I absolutely love this multitool for its practicality and small size. I have been attempting to incorporate this tool in to my EDC, but ran into an issue. When walking around with it in my pocket, it always turns sideways and makes it extremly uncomfortable to carry. I don't wear tactical style pants/shorts, so I have no special "knife pockets" available to me.

What are some ways you guys carry your small duty multitool? The idea of a kydex sheath would be cool, but am unable to find anything for this specific model.

Get a P7 suspension clip. Seriously the S2 carries like a dream on one and you literally forget its there. They are a bit expensive, but well worth it.

Another option that is free and may be for you is to sew a little divider into your pocket. Its very easy and effective. Do not make the divider to high or it may be hard to get the tool out. I did this to carry a full size Swisstool and it worked well.

Instead of a P7 clip, I use a length of paracord with a lobster claw clip on one end to attach the knife (in this instance a Vic OH Trekker, but principle is the same) and the other with a large knot. This is slipped under my belt so the knife dangles into my pocket while the knot holds it up. An advantage, besides much cheaper, is that the knife can be detached for use, or the whole thing pulled out so the paracord can serve as a lanyard. I use orange when outdoors for visibility in case of loss (never happened yet) and black or brown for discrete carry.

those are both great ideas to start with. You may find a method that works for you that is very similar, or works best for a certain style of pant. So try a few variations, I'm sure you'll find a way to make it work.

My Leatherman Juice S2 came with a sheath, so that is what I use.
It's small enough you won't even notice it's there.

If it's the one I am thinking of, you may not notice it's there because it isn't. The one that came with mine was a clip-on type. The first time it worked its way loose and fell on the floor was the last day I used it. Beware of those clip-ons, they are not secure.

what about a cell phone holster? since they come in different sizes you might find one that will work.

I've EDC'd the juice S2 for over a year now and find it awesome. It fits in the coin pocket of my jeans along with a Thrunite Ti162 flashlight (aaa battery) and a space pen. The pen pokes out the top a bit but other than that it works great to carry those three items together in the coin pocket. When I am at the office, I carry any EDC gadgets I want with me in my backpack. I hope that helps. Good luck with optimising your carry.

I love my little S2. I keep one in my bag in a pouch but I have also fifth pocket carried it. There are some decent pouches, leather or nylon, out there from Leatherman or aftermarket. If I want to carry it more I'd probably go with something like this or try the TEC suspension clip like mentioned already.

I find the fifth jeans pocket perfectly suitable for S2; it definitely won't go into horizontal position.

Squirt on the other hand will try to rotate a bit, but it's even easier to carry than S2.

The Juice S2 goes in my pocket no matter what knife I decide to carry that day. Great tool.
