Leatherman Multitool "In-between" Freestyle and Wingman/Sidekick?

I'm not too familiar with a lot of Leathermans but a quick browse on amazon introduced me to their wave, sidekick, wingman, and freestlye models.

I was wondering if there was a model in between the freestyle and wingman/sidekick. I would like a multi-tool a bit smaller than the wingman, but the sidekick seems too small IMO.

In any case, if theres no 'inbetween' size I might settle for either the wingman or sidekick because I've heard some QC issues with the freestyle.

I don't own a Wingman or Sidekick, but I think the Leatherman Juice series is something you could take a look at.

You might like the Skeletool. I think that it is a step up in quality and lighter than the Wingman. It has pliers,a knife blade, and a bit driver with 2 double ended screwdriver bits. One double ended flat and one double ended phillips bit. It comes with a pocket clip and a built in caribiner that doubles as a bottle opener.

Juice or Skeletool are great options. I own both, but find myself with my Juice in my pocket a lot more than my Skeletool.

thanks all for the replies.

from the looks of it, the juice and skeletool definitely appear to be better options than the freestyle, wingman, and sidekick!

The juice looks more portable but lacks a pocket clip, while the skeletool has one. I think it will boil down to price between the two.

I hate to be odd man out but I went with the WAVE and love its utility. You'll have to look carefully to find the lanyard ring (I didn't see it either until the sales clerk showed me. OK, so I need new glasses). The Juice CS4 is a dandy. Can't go wrong with Leatherman. Got my first PST 28 years ago and very happy with it--carry it everywhere except TSA moderated airports.
