Hey everyone!

I recently purchased a Leatherman MUT. I haven't really used it yet, but I am thinking of returning it for a Charge TTI or the new Signal. Thoughts on these? I will be using the tool for medical response and law enforcement duty, as well as EDC at home, and require a strong pliers and a strong knife blade (I can't always carry a designated blade while working). Any other tools to help me perform at work are definitely a welcome bonus! I originally purchased the MUT due to the strap cutter and the hammer, but I am questioning my decision. Any input on these three models and how they perform will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I have never held a signal . But I have owned and mut . I currently own a charge tti . I loved the mut , it is the most bad ass looking multitool ever imo . But it is a speciality tool made for military , gun maintenance. Although it is versital enough to be used in other applications. The charge tti is the quintessential leatherman imo . The size fits into that multitool sweet spot. Great blades , great blade steel . Size and weight are perfect. The mut is a big heavy beast . The charge is more versatile imo . I'd recommend it as the best all around multitool. I have owned or tried most . Both would fit your needs . But for all around versitility the charge gets my vote.

How is the pocket clip on the charge TTI? My MUT fits nicely in the knife pocket of my pants and the titanium clip is worry free.

The removable clip on the charge is sweet . It carries very well , it sits deep in the pocket also . I do clip my knives , but my multitools I sheath. I found the clip on the mut to stiff , the clip on the charge is very similar to a hinderer clip . But it sits deeper in the pocket than a hinderer ... I would say pocket carry the charge wins hands down ..
