Quick background. I have a full time job in cybersecurity and infrastructure but I also own a pool service and repair company. When I am out working with pools I wear this in a skinth L with a fisher space pen and a stream light aa and an extra aa battery in the front pouch. I am out three to four times a week helping my guys with repairs and other issues. I chose it because it was in a wet environment and I wanted something lightweight and inexpensive and the self closing pliers was the biggest plus for what I do,

My use is low to medium as I like to use the correct tool for the job and will go back to the truck to get the tool kit. However if it is a quick job I will use this for quick cutting tasks of wires, slicing open packaging, quick grip with the pliers or wire cutting, tightening or loosening screws and such, filing down pipe edges or copper ground wire that is sharp, and the pliers for adjusting time clock stops.. I also have used the scissors a few times to finish cutting #12 AWG wire because of the gap in the wire cutters. I mostly use the pliers, philips and flat head screwdriver. I moderately use the file on mostly plastic. I rarely use the package opener and the scissors. I have never used the can opener. So it gets moderate use. It is in a wet environment and gets wet often. I do live in Arizona so rust isn't much of an issue, the only maintenance it has received over two years is quick on the spot WD-40 sprays whenit gets really wet on the truck bed after a job then stuffed back in it's home in the skinth, and periodic razor sharpening of the non serrated blade on my paper wheels.

That being said here is how it has held up over two years:

The skinth has been great, gets wet a lot and gets exposed to chlorine, acid, de, wd 40, and other chemicals so it has a few stains

As for the knife, there are a few rust spots on the file and other areas, all the tools have been solid and none have failed. The ruler is worthless so I measured and marked my own ruler on the knife itself for quick reference. They should have just put a diamond file on the other side. The package opener is a great thing but it's quicker to just pop the blade out and cut.

Here are some photos of the wear on the knife:

Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would buy it again for my purposes. The skinth is also grea and has held up surprisingly well for how wet it gets and then quickly dries out in saharan heat over and over.,

I have other tools a supertool and wave, but I grab this most often for my purposes. Keep the supertool in every vehicle and take the wave if I am camping or doing things other than pools., So I would rate this as a great purchases all around.

I tried a Wingman years ago. I gave it to my then boss. I loathe serrated blades.
Nice kit. 👍

The Skinths are the best sheaths out there, for multitools. The L is a little too big for what I like but the M-shield is perfect.
I depend on a Charge Tti and a AAA light in a Skinth so much that I have a brand new setup as a reserve.
