If any of yall have a Saddleback bag, the briefcase, messenger, or others post some pics please. In use pics are always great to. Thanks.

Here's one with my CRK Umnumzaan. It was a good Christmas :) I think CRK and Saddleback compliment each other extremely well.

Saddleback Leather is the best. I only wish I could afford more of it!

TLR, nice bag and knife. thanks for the picture.. what size briefcase is that?

looks like the medium. very nice bag, though a bit on the heavy side.

i have the medium as well, but i think i should have gotten the large.

and the xl is more like a suitcase than a briefcase.

That's actually a large. I really went back and forth between the large and XL. I'm very happy with it. I just gave it it's first leather treatment last night as the leather seemed to be drying out just a little on it after 9 months of daily use in sun, rain, snow and ice (and a little road salt in IA) It is a heavy bag but I'm a big guy (6'2" 265lbs) so it's not to big of a deal.

I also have their large bifold wallet and absolutely love it.

That's a nice bag. I only have the small wallet in chestnut, but I've had my eye on the briefcase for a while now. I just have difficulty psychologically spending that much on a bag. I don't even know if my wife has ever spent that much on a bag. Strange since I don't have a problem dropping that amount on a knife.

Yeah I understand the money thing but I justify it based on the fact I literally use it 6 out of 7 days a week and I plan on using it for years. It's kind of the same reasoning that finally led me to break down and get a Weber grill. My current grill kept blowing up on me (rebuilt twice) and after adding it up over the last ten years I have spent over $1000 on grills. Now living on the coast in Fl. for a while was part of that but I figured that I could either keep buying $200-400 grills every few years or get a weber which every one I know who has had one have kept them for over 10 years. Up front it was a little more (I got my genesis for $550) but over time I should actually come out ahead.

My Saddleback bag is a long term investment. It did take some convincing and saving but it was worth it. If you want to save a few bucks make sure you check out the "Dave's Deals" section of their website. I saved $50 off the regular price on mine because it was supposedly "two-toned." It is slightly darker on the bottom half of the bag vs. the flap (you can kind of see it in my picture) but honestly in normal room lighting you really have to stare at and think about it to tell. No one who has seen it has noticed it unless I tell them and I have gotten a number of compliments. It was worth $50 off to me.

Because I use my bag daily and I've worn holes in so many others it was actually easier to justify the bag then a nice knife.

My wife asked what I want for my 50th b-day, I said the large satchel in the coffee color. Its for packing up my extended EDC, books, journal, etc when on vacation, camping or day trips. I was worried about the size, but we had a similar sized carry bag and I was able to fit both my glocks w/holsters, extra mags, flashlight, two kershaws, izula, leather man, headlamp, camera, notebook and kabar kukri (handle stuck out a little). Still had room for more, so think the size shouldn't be a problem. Now waiting for November......

I have a wallet and the small pouch. Love them both. Someday I'll get a bag (or two). :)
