Double edged fighter done in the style of Phil Hartsfield from .182" Bohler K110 hardened to 61RC with cryo. Zero bevel 36 grit with tiny micro-bevel on flat side for ease of sharpening. Black coarse texture G10 attached with chain ring bolts.
. Here’s my latest treasure, a Phillip Patton work of art. 9” O1/L6 twist Damascus, damascus guard, Arizona desert ironwood handle. And Phillip was wonderful to deal with, a true gentleman.
Here's my latest, a recurve fighter with a big butt and a heavy taper. It's in O1 and tapers from 6mm to 1mm. The handle is bubinga with G10 liners. The swedge is sanded to a high grit and polished.
