Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

Matt I just picked one up in rough black (post #3579) and I agree with you. The as ground finish would be an improvement. The mirror finish always looks smudged.
Thats a beautiful combination of blade shape and handle material, definitely went to the top of my CASE wishlist. My only dissapointment with the polish isn't so much the smudging (although annoying for good pics!) as that the blade isnt pointy, and needs alot of stonework to be even close to the as ground delrin handled favorite of mine.
( I know the polished vs as ground subject has been covered in detail here in many places, just my redundant 2 cents)

Pmek5 I think they have been referred to as rough black or black gum fuddy . I’m not sure which is the correct term .
