I feel the need to give a big shout out for cpirtle and his amazing leather work. Here is my small collection of CPK sheaths that Chad has made for me over the last few years.

Some alligator accent and a buffalo overlay:

My four Pirtle sheaths together. The one on the far right is a sharkskin overlay.

These certainly won't be my last sheaths from Chad. They are worth the wait when he opens his books again someday.

I keep thinking I am getting close then my tannery runs out of leather (among the top 5 things I never thought I'd say) or Mother Nature dumps 6" of granulated snow cone ice, (something I have never seen before) and my daughter misses a week of school.. Really though, I am getting close

Thank you my friend I appreciate it. Only took like 4 or 5 protos to get there lol. TRfromMT did testing on two of the protos. He helped push some design features that went into the sheath.
