Well said and I agree, David. They 'work' but pale in comparison.

Great job on the sheath! Did ya welt it all the way around? Sometimes those upswept points can get a little chewy on the thread on the topside.Made a new sheath for my Sharpfinger. Found this one sheathless and chipped in an old toolbox.
Sure is! There is an old leather worker in my town who is keen to show people how to work with leather. Spent a couple evenings this past week making this one over at his shop. Smooth side towards the skin to minimize rubbing. Rough side out for a little bit different look.Great job on the sheath! Did ya welt it all the way around? My new Scott Hanson hunter will arrive tomorrow.
This man makes unbelievably beautiful blades.
Thank you, sir. Not many are doing traditional fixed blades like Scott is. I'm one lucky dude to have a couple of his masterpieces.
Oh, man!!
Awsome, Mack! Thats a beauty! Congratulations.
Sweet, Jack! Love the rams horn.Picked this Boker Savannah up a week or so ago

Great knife. I have one I got cheap without a sheath. Mercifully, considering my sheath-making skills, it fits a pro hunter sheath just fine.Just got this very nice 144UH.
