I'd like to see what knives you used for deer / hog hunting. Photos are best, but if you can't get photos up then a simple list is also appreciated. I just added a few to my collection: Kershaw Antelope Hunter II*, Bucklite Max large fixed blade in black, Buck Paklite Skinner large, and another Mora Clipper in stainless.

*The Kershaw Antelope Hunter is marked as "II" on the box and has all the features of the II model. However, the blade is marked AUS-8 (which would make it a I, not a II), whereas the II is made of 8Cr13MoV.

A duo of Schrade 152OT Sharpfinger and 165OT Woodsman.

I have more than one of the Woodsman knives.

These knife patterns have served me well for thirty or forty years. Sure, I have a few hundred different ones, but these two are the ones I carry and use the most.

This is my newest one. It's on a passaround right now. I hope to get it soon.

Codger 64; Are those US-made? I keep seeing the new Taylor Schrades, made in China, but can't find a US-made carbon steel Sharpfinger.

Yes, U.S. made by Imperial Schrade in Ellenville, NY pre 2004. There are still plenty on the market if you look. I just bought two more this past week.

I've used this David Farmer custom the last two years on 4 whitetail, and it's super. L6 carbon steel and bamboo handles.

This was a pass around from Himalayan imports, probably one of my favorite hunting knives. I also use a kershaw antelope hunter, bark river rising wolf, or an Izula for hunting. I don't really care for the Kershaw though but it does the job.

I have and have used my Knives of Alaska Alpha Wolf and BRKT Woodland Special on two elk, one for each knife. This Christmas I was given a Randell model 11, but am on the fence about using it. The person who gave it to me said I better use it. Sorry no pics.

The 11 is a fantastic blade. Use it in good health.

I own newer, better and more expensive knives; but this has been my hunting knife for the last 30 years. It's a Queen city WWII combat knife that takes and holds a good edge.

This is my favorite big game hunting knife. It is a good skinner, and works well for field dressing. It was one of the first ATS34 models that I was aware of.

It's in the Knife reviews & Testing sub-forum, but my computer won't let me Copy-and-Paste right now.
