    Its the only fixed blade I've held on to. I put a small cord wrap on the handle and put it to work since day 1. I saw it in a case at smoky Mountain knife works and asked the salesman about it. He told me it was 440c :rolleyes: but I asked to see the box anyway. When I saw s30v and kydex sheath I thanked him for his time and went straight to the checkout counter. Love this little guy

    I have a White River Backpacker which is similar and I think it is a very well built knife. Light as a feather and the S30V came very sharp and holds its edge nicely.
