The shoes are made by vivobarefoot. Very comfortable if you like minimalist shoes. I have a pair of hikers, crosstrainers and these here - all have been good to me so far. I did return a couple pairs of their "dressier" boots as I felt the construction wouldn't hold up to how I intended to wear them. They may have held up, I dunno, they came out of the box and went back in.
