Where are y'all purchasing your linen thread? I do not mind having to wax it. My local Tandy says they do not carry it :grumpy:

I bought a spool of 5 strand Barbours ( natural ) and a spool of 7 strand black. I hardly dented it , the natural color I got from Mid Continent I believe and the black I stole off Ebay ( a new spool cost me $15 shipped ).
