Why can't the liner thickness on all models be as thick as the CQC13?

Are you sure that CQC13 liners are thicker ? I don't have one ( folders, just a kbit and CQC11) but from reviews seems that all are the same...can you put a picture?

Who is Reese???

And yes, everyone thinks they need a knife that can handle nuclear war, when 99.9% of folks can handle ANY task that comes their way with ANY Emerson.

Actually, I compared my 2009 A-100 and my 2009 Super Commander to my 2003 Commander and the newer knives have a thicker lock-side. I'm a happy camper :)

Same here. My CQC-8 and A-100 have a thicker locking liner than my older CQC-7 and Specwar-A.

Now that the liners are mentioned... I do notice the locking liners on my 13 is thicker than the non-locking liners!
