Hi there everyone!
My goal in my knife collecting is to collect 1 folding knife, and 1 fixed blade knife, from each of the world's mainstream knife manufacturers. It is more of a knife collector's dream than a reality but hey, ambition and beauty of the blade is what keeps us interested. :)

The rules are:
- Hunting and tactical knives only (no kitchen/culinary knives or swords.)
- No autos or double edged knives. (Illegal to import to Australia)
- The knife manufacturer has to actively make the models they are selling (no resellers).
- No custom or one off knives (so this excludes custom knife makers who only make one off's. But they can be included if they are actively producing the same model repeatedly for regular sale.)

I have started my collection and currently I stand at about 39 knives so far.

I am currently in the process of compiling a list of manufacturers, and I need your help.

If you can help or can add any manufacturers that meet my above specified criteria, please do. Here we go! :D

Since you have Kershaw and Zero Tolerance listed separately, you should add Scrapyard and Swamp Rat as brands separate from Busse.

Also, Northwoods -- a manufacturer of traditional knives -- is another you don't have.

Since you have Tramontina, you could add Imacasa, Hansa, and Martindale. Not sure if you really want to go through with this, though...

In either case, this thread makes a great reference.

AusieGav - Boker Plus is a line of Boker, so I'll probably leave this one out as Boker pretty well covers Boker Pluse too. Thanks for the suggestions! :)

j man - Thanks for your suggestions. I did some research on these. Catagruas ceased production in 1963 (Wikipedia). and i got some info on this forum on Voss Cutlery and this is what I found- Voss Cutlery Co. Solingen 1900-1939 [appear to be NYC importer of Bertram knives]. Voss Cut Co. Germany 1968-1975 made by Bertram [marked with-Hen and Rooster]. Voss Cut. Co. Germany 1968-1975 sold by Fife Cutlery, Myers and also Carters all of Kentucky-might have been made by Bertram but not marked with Hen & Rooster. But all have ceased production. Thanks for your input though. It helps with my slowly expanding knife brand knowledge. :)
