I started 2011 carrying a SOG Aegis.

For a while I carried a Blind Horse Knives mini-Brumby in a pocket sheath, then a Blind Horse Knives Bushbaby, pretty rapidly back to the Brumby.

Then I became aware of what the local law on knives really is, and quickly went back to folders.

About two minutes after the East Coast Earthquake I decided to EDC more knife, fell back to my old Ontario RAT-1 at first, had a brief fling with a Benchmade 950 Rift, then to the ZT-0551. Full stop, unless something extraordinary comes up, this will do for some time. Wearing cargo pants during the week I often balance it with a Leatherman Ti on the other side (while relatively harmless, the 5.8 tremor/"quake" was a wakeup call, and we'd had a 3.4 the previous summer).

Kicking around on the weekends sometimes I pocket a ZT-0301 instead, just for ease/speed of opening, but I find it a bit too heavy, I really like the ZT-0551 a lot more... yet another vote for it.

1. Buck vantage pro. I cant still cant believe that a rock solid liner lock with g10 handles and a bos treated s30v blade only cost me $55.

2. Strider sng. Good knife but not to fond of the large choil. I prefer more cutting edge on a blade that size.

3. Bradley alias 1. Really good knife for the price. Sad I sold it.

4. Ritter grip with wilkinsgrips. Should have never sold it.

5. I'm getting an umnumzaan for x-mas so ill put it down. I'm sure I will be pleased with it!
