Loctite Adhesives Speedbonder 324, 325, 326 and Depend 330

Nice Q&A, Tracy, Thanks!!  I'll be looking for some soon and you covered the facts well. Have you ever tried dying any of these to match liners?

I haven't but it shouldn't be that hard. It won't set up until it is in an airtight position and in contact with the activator. I don't see any problem with a dab of powder dye. I'd test the liquid dye before using. This glue sets up differently than what we are used to traditionally and that liquid might affect the cure -- but I very much doubt it would at all. I'll have to to try it and see.

while I have NOT ordered knifemaking supplies, I have ordered materials from Tracy. Fast shipping VERY FAIR prices and a good guy to boot. I willbe a return customer.

Tracy,
When you get a chance please email me. I would like to privately discuss a conversation I had last week with a loctite tech support person pertaining to activator.
Than you,
Matt Doyle

I recently tried the loctite 330 with the 7380 activator and I'm impressed. I did not wait long to work on that knife, good stuff. Seems to me it does have a shelf life on the package. I don't think I will have any problem using it by then though.

Tracy, How's the shelf life? Times I have bought other types of these glues in large containers it always went off shortly after I started using it.

Anyone have any experience adding pigment (epoxy coloring agent) to Loctite 325? My colorant is Tenax Tepox. Works fine with Devcon 2000 (aka 2 ton).

5 1/2 year old thread. Might want to ask in a different forum rather than in a for sale forum?
