... on Netflix. Walt, Vic, the Ferg and Henry Standing Bear are all back too.

But Longmire's 110 is back, get's almost as much screen time as the 30-30 and up to the point I've watch (3rd episode) more action.

We are limiting ourselves to one episode per night. Last night, episode 3, near the end I blurted out, "Buck 110". Craig Johnson will be here next week for a talk. I might ask him about the 110.

I feel better knowing I'm not alone pocket carrying a 110!!

One a night. That's control!

I just watched the 1st episode of season 4 and saw the 110 come out again. It is exactly what I would expect to see for that character and there is something I just really like about the show. I am glad it is back( the show and the 110)!

OMG! I thought they cancelled this show after season 3! I haven't seen or heard a thing about it until just now! THANKS FOR THIS POST!!!:):thumbup:

"They", as in A&E, did cancel it despite some decent ratings. It was picked up by Netflix and all the season four content is Netflix original.

Since Netflix picked it up the episodes are (a little) longer too. Instead of the general 42-43 minutes for network air-time, Netflix eps are around 50-51 minutes.

Read an interview that the writers have either prospected or planned out 8-9 seasons as well.

That sounds great. I hope they produce 2 "seasons" each year. I'd like to see them produce The Glades and TeraNova as well.

Wait til Barlow get's a hold of Walt's 110

I was going to wait until Buck gets a hold of a Barlow.

Longmire is great, my favorite show currently playing. What's really cool is that the books are even better.

Hello,

We love this show too!

They did cancel the show but enough people complained about the show ending that Netflix picked it up.

My husband and I have been buying the Longmire dvd sets. We have three seasons so far. Hopefully, we can buy the next season if Netflix sells it in a dvd set.

I know that Walt has his trusty Buck 110 on him according to the shows!

Take care.

Cate

I believe I've read some Longmire before, but had no clue until this thread there was a Longmire series on TV.

I just watched 1st year, 1st series and I believe I'll have to watch the next one. :)

When Longmire turned his Bronco on it's side and reached to cut himself out of the seatbelt, he reached for a Schrade LB7. I'm guessing the Buck 110 comes in later episodes.

Good catch! The glass in the back of the hand was a nice touch, no?

Yes, the static Longmire wardrobe of American icons settles back to where it should be after that first "110" non-110 appearance.

Then again, one might forgive the prop guy. A "Buck knife" may or may not be a Buck. Such is the price of success.

I haven't seen this show but I've heard from here, as well as others, it's pretty good.

Kind of an interesting thread in the General forum about his knife in the first scene that shows his knife handle with 5 pins. I'll be curious to see what the verdict is. :) The 110's I looked at all seem to be either 3 or 4. At least from a quick look on eBay.

Interesting the discussions we knife peoples get into. Lol.

****Well you guys convinced me to give the books a try first. Just bought the first in the series for my kindle. I like to read the book first before the TV show. They're kinda pricey for as long as they've been out now. I would guess that's do to the TV series though. Looking forward to checking it out once I finish what I'm in at the moment. Thanks!

I'm a big enough fan of Longmire I might get my first 110.

So far I've got mostly a boatload of Vantages, a couple Vanguards, and a couple Paklites. I even have a couple Parallexes and a Bucklite I tried to give away to a member here who sounded interested, but he ignored my emails.

I guess I'm due a 110.

Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips' character) is holding a 120 in one of the episodes.

I'll search our TV and see if we still get this show. It will be fun to see the model 94s and the Buck 110s.

I believe that was the only episode with the LB7, every other one has an older 110. My favorite series, who can`t really like a guy who carries a 110 and 1911!

I have watched all the episodes since my last post in this thread. I watched more TV in the last few weeks because of that series than I have in the last 15 years!
You are right about the first one having the Schrade. The rest had a Buck 110 and it looked to be about a 1978 to 1980 model.

It was bad for me to see his 1911. It had a stag handle! Now I have something else to look for to dress up mine. :)
