Found them in a bucket I used to use as a hunting stool. Looong time ago.
I do remember that I reshaped both of the blades. I don't like swept blades so I lowered the Uncle Henry's tip. I ground off the hump on the Cutco and made the tip more pointy. The Cutco had been through a house fire and was given to me with a burnt up handle. I just wrapped waxed thread (for sewing leather) around the handle until it was thick enough to grip.

I forgot all about that sheath I made from an old leather belt. Not bad, if I do say so myself, LOL. Yes that is a plain old steel screw in the sheath. I think there used to be two of them with nuts. I do know that there was no Internet when I modded these, and I can nail down the year I got the Cutco - 1978.

These were never my front line hunting knives. I mainly used the Uncle Henry as a camp knife and used it to split rib cages. The Cutco was a backup knife and loaner.
