We've had this knife for years and it's been well loved, but the handle just isn't in any shape to still be used, would love some help finding a replacement! An exact match to this knife would be preferable, but i'm also open to alternative suggestions!

This is a standard filet knife for kitchen work. For kitchen work, I prefer a molded plastic handle -- keeps out the food, and dish-washer safe.

If molded plastic and dishwasher safe are priority’s. I’d look to Dexter Russel. They have a line called “Sani Safe”. They have everything from bait knives to butcher knives with several filet knives.

Most have white handles but some have nice bright colors available. Made in USA.

They are inexpensive but are far from cheap. Industrial quality knives made for hard use. They take and hold a nice edge.

These are my butcher and large skinner.

Dexter Russell Sani-Safe, these are industrial grade commercial food prep knives. Molded handles to meet food prep sanitation standards. I have a 8" Filet and -- I swear, a 6" Boner.

Additionally, I have a 6" Butcher with carbon steel blade and wood (maple?) grip.
