Looking for boot tip knives

I am looking for the boot tips that are small knife blades that attach, either permanently or removable, to the front tip of your boot. I found them about a year ago on-line but didn't order them at the time. Now I can't find them or anything remotely close. They were approximately 2" long and came in either black or silver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to use them to fight a dude named Dalton, I wouldn't reccomend it.

First things first, check your local laws for double-edged restrictions. If it's automatic opening, few states allow that. As for their use and attachment, I wouldn't recommend them for hiking, dirt would get in the mechanism. Likewise, clomping around at work may be difficult. I've also had issues with certain dance styles and such things, classic ballroom is fine but anything more lively had me losing my balance a bit. Also, an impromptu soccer game with some friends ended badly.

...Anyone notice this thread popped up right after one model was featured in the 'Salt' trailer? And after the Dark Knight?
 
I saw a local down in Mexico with some on his cowboy boots. He was about 70 years old and looked real cool. ;) He could hardly walk so I don't think I was in any danger. Looked like he had spent the last 20 years or so polishing those boots. Very wore out but real shiny.:cool:
 
Those things are illegal in quite a few states. If I remember right, they also fall under concealed weapons laws.
 
Why would you want something like that? What possible use could it have? Things like that are just ridiculous and are a large part of the reason why all knives and knife users are looked down upon. That said, if you really must have one, I might suggest checking the BudK catalog.
 
The first one I saw was worn by James West in the old Wild, Wild West T.V series. That was one cool cowboy...

Probably because they're illegal - but if you do get some can you please post a video of you trying to climb stairs with them deployed to one of the "Fail" threads in Whine & Cheese
 
Wow! 15 sarcastic remarks and one hint of help. I posted asking for help in locating an item. I realize the laws, I know they were in cerain movies etc. What difference does it make WHY I am looking for them? Perhaps I am a collector of unusual knives used in movies. Or all things related to Patrick Swayze. Or maybe I DO want to use/wear them.
I posted as suggested from someone who actually thought assistance would be provided.

BTW -checked out BudK - no luck. Thanks for the suggestions anyways. Better than most did.

Btw, never did get an answer on whether ninja's wore cowboy boots ornot?
 
I would think the slick bottoms wouldn't aid in much of anything.Ever watch a cowboy try to run away from a bull at the rodeo?
 
If you want something that nobody makes, and is pretty silly stuff, you will probably have to make it yourself. Get some platform shoes, drill a hole, and epoxy some stick tang bowie blades in there.
