Hello, I'm hoping there's a custom knifemaker out there who can make a knife for me.
Looking for a paring knife which would double as a light utility knife, something I can carry on my belt every day for cutting boxes, light stuff around the yard, and of course cutting food.
Toughness and easy sharpening are more important to me on this one than hardness or edge retention, I'm sure that a high carbon non-stainless tool steel would work fine, it'd be great to see a hamon on it.
I'd be looking for a stag or sambar handle, metal bolster, I hope to give this knife to one of my young sons someday.
