I just purchased an old Queen Cutlery 19A trapper. It is my first QC and I just don't know anything about it. I'm looking for steel type and any other good history on this model. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Post a picture of the tang stamps. Do not use a flash.

I am new to BF and this is my first attempt at posting a picture. This is the only pic that I have of this knife as I purchased it in an online auction and it has not yet arrived. Please let me know if the picture is not coming through.

Thank you for the response and help. I'm very anxious to learn more about my newest blade.

Here's some info...
Circa 1984-90
Amber handles, brass liners, Nickel Silver Bolsters, Queen Steel #19A etch, Q STEEL tang stamp.
It's stainless steel.
Info from Jim Sargents book, American Premium Guide to Knives & Razors, 6th ed.

Looks like a nice knife. Welcome to the forum.
