Recommendation? Looking for steel in Utah

Hey all, I hope I'm doing this thing right (I'm new on here). I live in Utah valley and I would love to buy some steel (I prefer 10 series) nearby so I don't have to pay for shipping. I mean if I have to, that's fine, but does anywhere know where I could buy it from a brick and mortar store?

Distributors that carry 10xx series (above 1045) are rare - maybe 1 in 1000. Those that do carry it will generally want to sell full sheets only.

Diversified Metal Services used to carry some grades of tool steel, you might give them a call. They are in SLC.

Grainger is in SLC and they usually can get you O1 and A2, both great knife steels and come precision ground.

This would be my suggestion. Or pony up for shipping. I'm in the Salt Lake City area and I haven't found a local distributor that carries 10xx series steel with any regularity. I usually get 1095 from Admiral Steel. I've heard good things about Alpha Knife Supply though I haven't bought anything from them as yet. They are in Cedar City, so shipping would be minimal to Utah Valley.
