Hey Guys. I have been doing a TON of milling and have a mountain of scraps to get rid of. Its a mix of Black palm, desert ironwood, Cocobolo, assorted domestic burls, redwood burl, figured maple, figured walnut, redheart, satinwood, gaboon ebony, macassar ebony, kingwood, koa, tulipwood, all sorts of rodsewood, African blackwood, you name it. Its a mix of offcuts, mismatched scales, blocks that were a tad to short, figure that wasent right, burl caps. Everything
For me, scrap is anything that is not at least 1 - 5 - 1.5 inches of clean, uncracked wood. I had two other makers by my shop today and they said a lot of my scrap would work perfectly for small knife handles. Im selling it for 7 dollars a pound, and Im trying to not just sell small packs. I would like to sell no less than 10 pounds at a time, and if you are buying a lot I can pick you out better stock
I really dont want to pick and choose species, but if you REALLY need specifics, I can sort through it.
