I used some carbon fibre, ebony veneer, brass swarf and resin to make these scales. I roll-forged the blade with an aogami super core with 1080 cladding and a nickel separation layer. The forge scale depressions were plated with gold and it resisted the acid etch nicely, exactly what noble metals do I guess! The 6-4 titanium liners were anodised at 25v and the spacer at 16v. Detentfolder with a light action. Ig
