first off, id like to thank knifeworks for promptly sending my item. I had a smooth transaction.
They state that they're an authorized luminox dealer, but when I received my watch in the mail today, I had no warranty card. Came in the sleeve, with the "sunglass" case and instructional booklet. Just wondering if this watch was somehow fake? I called immediately to confirm and they said that there's no warranty card with the others. If I have to send it in for warranty work, just mention it was knifeworks and show the invoice. Did any of you guys ever buy an authentic luminox without the warranty card? Just curious if I should return and buy elsewhere? Or its the real deal.
thank you.
Model:3051.BO ( black out)

If I were you I'd send an email to Luminox and see what they say. They certainly aught to know. :)

Your watch is probably not a fake, I got my Luminox about 5 years ago from a different authorized dealer and I do not remember a warranty card. If you needed warranty you will find the instruction on the Luminox web site for where to send it. You may need to include the receipt from where you purchased it to prove how old the watch is and that it was an authorized dealer you purchased it from.

Enjoy your watch

yeah, that's what i was told from knifeworks. "just show them your invoice from us, and they'll accept it since we're authorized by them to sell their watches."
i just sent an email to luminox a couple minutes ago just to confirm this information. i'll let you all know what they said.
it really is a nice watch. after i save up enough, going to get my planet ocean omega :D but this would most likely see more wrist time.

I bought mine over ten years ago. Luminox Navy Seal Dive Watch, Series II, Model 3900. I dont remember which internet site I got it from, budk maybe, not sure. But mine came with a nice case and card.

I bought two of them and they both broke. One for my Son and one for me.This was some years ago, mine broke when I was loading a truck and I accidentally slipped and my arm hit the tailgate. The crystal was fine but the hands of the watch came loose. I still have them and never sent them in for warranty.Every time I get a nice watch it ends up broken. It's like a damn curse.I got a $20 S&W military watch and it's lasted 6 years now.I should send them back someday and find out if they will repair them.I can't recall why my Sons failed but I still have that one too.

damn... send that baby in. Or get a new one :D

Well Bielio it been so long I doubt if the warranty is still good.I should do it though.I still have them both and they're the coolest watch I've ever owned for sure.Mine even came with a little compass on a separate strap in the same box as the photo.I like the glow in the dark feature plus the face is is easy to see.I also like the band.I was a mailman out here in the desert and some watches I had with a metal back that touched my wrist would corrode from sweat.I just found one of the boxes and the warranty says 10 years but you need the proof of purchase.I bought them online and didn't keep the receipt so I may be SOL.

One thing I would like to add is that Knifeworks would not sell anything that is fake. I have been a cutomer of their for a really long time, and they have very high integrity, they set a pretty high standard from what my experiences have been.

I work for a luminox dealer. The warranty card is a laminated piece of plastic, like a credit card. THey always ship to to us loose in the bottom of the box, bet it just never got put into your case. Dont sweat it

It seems the receipt is what they want for the warranty so that's what you want to keep.

thanks everyone for the replies. great to hear from this forum. i've been wearing this watch day in day out. still clicking along. i'm surprised to see the second hand doesn't always match perfectly in sync with the markers, but keeps very accurate time so far. tough, YES! black-out style YES! cleans well with tap water YES! great watch, and for anyone else reading this, i recommend it.

Bielio glad you're enjoying that watch.Do they still come with a small compass on a wrist strap?
