I know there are some lurkers and guests that often read the forum but don't post. Join us, the water's fine ;):D

We are all relatively nice people;), and you might find someone in your own community that shares the same interests as yourself.

So if you have been on the fringe, join our group. If you aren't a member of BF, join and then come back and visit us. We would be happy to have you.

Regular forumites, if you know someone that is interested in Busse knives but doesn't visit the forum invite them. :D:D

Everyone's welcome here :):D

Chris,
Just trying to keep everyone happy:), besides that we need some new blood around here ;):D:D

All kidding aside, Thanks for your support. :):D

Thanks for the invitation Eric. I don't own a Busse...YET! I hope to purchase my first in the near future. I got a first hand look at the Busse line at the Indy 1500 show, and I knew it would only be a matter of time. I have only changed my mind about which will be the first about a hundred times! Today I'm leaning toward the Natural Outlaw.

Boiler, if today you're leaning, tomorrow buy. You won't regret it.

Welcome aboard. How far south in Indiana are you, as in the "Sunny side of Louisville"?

Mark

Boiler,
Welcome to the forums. Glad you stopped in ;):D

As Mark said, go ahead and buy, it really doesn't matter which one. They are all great blades, and you'll want buy more later anyway;)
The NO is a great compromise between large and small Busse Blades. Large enough to chop and small enough to do fine work.

Let us know which you decide. ;):D

Boiler, welcome to the forums!! :) You'll always remember the day that first Busse arrives in a nice brown box :D

Not new to Bladeforums but I just got my first Busse, a kicka$$ Battle Mistress E. Pictures do not do these knives justice. After actually handling the BM I could not leave the show without it. I'm now contemplating my next purchase ( Mr. Mojo or Natural Outlaw) I am officially hooked.

Martin

Martin,
Congrats on the BM-E, it will serve you well. As for what's next, I'd get the Mr.MOJO, and hurry before they're gone. ;):D

Boiler, run for your life. Once you one, it ill soon not be enough, and you will want more, and more, like anINFI addict:D All kidding aside, this is a great forum. I post here regularly and enjoy the conversation.

OK, I lurk no more. Bought my first Busse, a SH-E about a year ago. Followed by a Basic 3, then a BM-E and BA-E. Waiting impatiently for my Mojo.

Now that I'm out in the open, what's the deal with variants? Do you call Jerry and order one or what?

Hey :) Send Marc (aka Contender) an email. He's the Custom Shop Director (lucky guy!) and can make all your dreams come true....

Congrats on your new blades guys:D Welcome to the forums!

As far as getting hooked up with a variant Geraldo, the best thing to do is run into them at a show or call the shop. Most of the variants were developed from Jerry's imagination and displayed at shows, but if you ask nicely;) anything short of a full house custom could be possible:D

For those of you that aren't familiar with the variants, well...they're just that!:) A variation of the standard models.
This usually means different tricked out grinds (clips, willow, bolo, recurved spine, false and sharpened spines and clips etc., tantos, serrations, the list goes on), pommel changes, and anything else you can or can't imaging seeing on a plain jane Busse. Of course if you decide to adapt any changes the wait will be a bit longer and cost will go up.

Some simple things to make your Busse a little more personalized are getting lazer etched names, logos, etc., getting tan canvas or linen Micarta scales, or cord wrap for the handles.

Yours in Nuclear welcoming tangents,
Kev

Geraldo,
Welcome to the Busse Forum. Glad you joined us. :)

Strabs gives some great info on the variants. :D

What specifically are you looking for? Maybe we can tell you if it has been made, or if it is something you should contact Marc about.

I've been looking at the pics posted here with different variants and customs. The pics of the Flying Mojo really got my attention.

I like my BA, and carry my B3 at work, but my favorites are the big blades. So my INFI tortured brain came to the conclusion that the next big blade must be a variant or custom.

Thanks for the welcome and the info!

Martin and Geraldo, Welcome to the forums.

Martin if you are interested in the Mr. Mojo, I wouldn't
wait to long. I think it is coming to it's end.:( That
and the Badger Attack-E's days are numbered.

Geraldo, like the guys said, get ahold of Contender (Marc).
He said in the other thread if you were interested in the Flying
Mojo, or something like it, to get ahold of him.:D

Yes, I agree with Chip, on both Counts ;):D

If you want a MOJO(don't wait) or Flying MOJO(contact Marc)

Thanks for the welcome everybody! I'll let you know when I decide.
