This is my first Youtube video I had big plans for a chop off but the M-18 didnt want that. Here it is I will try again later to do a real chop off.

Hey Psy..
I've been working with my '18 for awhile now, and I've discovered the "sweet spot" seems to be in chopping with the draw knife, in short chops, instead of using the hatchet on the end. If you get a chance, try that out, let me know if it works for you. I was destroying 5-6" cedars with this method with about 10 chops. Never tried a 2X4 though..
 
I think for me the sweet spot is where the draw knife meets the hatchet, it's all sweet thats where I like to chop down..
 
Very True! When I get mine I will have to show Psyop how to swing the M-18 like a real man should. Show him how to swing it with such might that even the almighty Thor and his hammer Mjölnir will by jealous.
