As most makers and serious collectors know one of the toughest hurdles for a maker who desires to become a Master Smith in the American Bladesmith Society is "that darn test dagger". Most have indicated to me it is the toughest hurdle.

I am not much on hype so here are the knives. They are priced fairly at the makers price. If anyone is interested or has questions they can be asked here or my email is Bastid {at} gmail.com.

My photography does not even come close to matching the quality of these daggers. They as perfect as a dagger is going to get since a flaw would cause rejection by the judges.

Mike Vagnino. Twsited silver wire wrapped handle in Ebony. Ladder pattern damascus showing incredible control of the pattern so much so that it looks 3 dimensional 4000.00.

Sava Damlovac is the only Master Smith to have submitted two daggers in his M.S. test knives.
Both of these have Gold twisted wire wrapped Mastadon Ivory handles. That little square mark above the JS stamp is Sava's micro stamp "Sava".
This one is 3000.00

This is Sava's second one. The quillions on these are removable and there is an extra set in pre-ban Ivory that comes with the knife. 2500.00

This is a three bar composite bowie by Ed Caffrey.
He named it the "Mountian Man Bowie". It sports an 11 and 1/2 inch 3 bar composite blade and overall with the iron wood handle is 16 and 3/4 inches long. 1250.00/ 1100.00

And the Ed's sheath follows the theme of the knife.

Back to the top. Price drop on Ed's Bowie 1150.00

I doubt we will see a 11+ inch 3 bar composite blade anywhere near that price.

I know the daggers have a limited audience, but they are all incredible pieces of work priced fairly. I am open to reasonable offers though.

BTTT price drop on Caffrey to 1100.00.

I would like to sell the Broadwell set!? Whats your actually price for them? It`s able to exchange with other knives?
