Lionsteel shows on their Facebookpage a new fixed Blade - The M5 (pre IWA Show Teaser) :)
Info´s from the Announcement:

  • Sleipner steel
  • DLC or Sone Washed finishing
  • Blade: 115 mm, overall 241 mm, thickness 4.5 mm

Olive wood M5 with 4.5" Sleipner blade (0.177" thick).

Got an email on the new LionSteel M5 fixed blade and it's also on their website. I'm guessing these will be out soon. Four models in all with a 4.5" long blade of Sleipner that's 0.18" thick.

Hopefully, you'll test the BlackWashed model. Curious on how much more resistant the coated Sleipner is to the elements.
 
Hi , yes this PVD treated stone washed version interests me. Sleipner is well suited to PVD too.
 
why don't they make a black leather sheath for the micarta handled knives :confused:
 
Just went to their site and thet give the description that the wooden handle knife comes with leather and the micarta with black codura. Don't know why but the leather is actually cheaper.

Shoot. I should have never looked at this thread. I just ordered a HEFT 6 Woodsman Pro and thought I would be happy for a while. Now I want one of these, too :)
