They are excellent magazines if you can get them.

They are very tough and that clip they use protects the top round and take pressure off of the lips. Great for long term storage.

They are good mags but I don't think they are substantially better than many others on the market that sell for lower prices.

The MSRP is $17.95 for 30 rd. I have not seen many cheaper than that. But then again, morons are charging more than double MSRP.

I have been on "backorder" status for several months, but got in 10 last week. They appear to be very sturdy, and function well. I will say they're much better than some so called "military" 40 rounders I picked up. I paid $ 14.00 each for mine, and at that rate, they're a bargain. Bill.

I use them...I love them, along with every other Magpul product I've tried. They are TOP NOTCH magazines. Since trying Pmags, I've retired all of my USGI steel 30rd mags, with the exception of about a dozen Bushmaster 20 & 30rd mags that are equipped with Magpul followers and base-plates.

I would definitely buy some from you if the price is good.

I love 'em: have a bunch of 20's and a bunch of 30's.

Do some Google searches for torture tests (whether youtube or write-ups). They perform amazingly well and many argue that they are more durable and reliable than USGI mags.

And from a SWAT Magazine article titled "224,000 Rounds in 12 days" by James Yeager:
All of the AR-15 magazines had issues with mud but the MagPul “P-Mags” did the best job overall, by a wide margin, during the 12 days.

I spent the past several years stocking up on USGI mags before the P-Mags ever came around. I've got a couple of P-Mags, but I'm in no rush to start stocking up on them, especially at the recently inflated post-election prices many dealers are asking.

I think they're good, but they are not to be used in extreme cold. I occasionally use mags in -40 and under I keep a bunch of stainless steel mags as well. Are they worth 2x retail? No, you can get good c-products or brownells mags with magpul followers for much less.

Unless you're going to a shoot out with your life in the balance I don't see them being worth the extra cash.

I've spent a lot of time in bad places and didn't feel a need for them.

I like the window feature.

My mistake...I was thinking of a different manufacturer...happens at times. I have been buying the Brownells mags...very happy with them and they even come in coyote brown...matches my gun...lol.

i have a couple 20 and 30 rounders. i just shoot at a range once in a while so i cant say if they are "better" than regular mags but i like them. never jam or anything, easy to load, no sharp corners, cool window, and i am not worried that i will accidentally scratch the finish on my gun when clumsily maneuvering the magazine.
