Sheath work, nothing, look at that engraving? Is that engraved, or did you cast the silver fittings?

Oh yes... gorgeous work as always Vladimir!! This may be a fighter and it is certainly Fine ART! Terrific in every detail!!

Vladimir,
EXTREMELY PLEASING TO THE EYES.
Your design and workmanship is STUNNING.
The ornamentation is PERFECT and not over done.
BEAUTIFUL SHEATH.

The one with oak leaves is a silver strip. It's made by passing a plain silver strip through a rolling mill to create a specific pattern. It was soldered to a frame.
All other silver components such as guard , pommel etc. were made by soldering together separate parts. It's not casting, technically speaking.
Hello Robert! Nice to see you here, as always.

Very nice work, Vladimir! The attention to detail and workmanship is amazing! Believe me, it looks great here but get this in front of you and OMG! I own the mate to this one with turquoise and it is front and center in my display!

Thanks!
Indeed, Karl, Turquoise one and this one are just close cousins. I was trying to improve my skills in frame knives.

Thank you guys for all the kind words. Much appreciated!
I'd like to mention that the actual cost of this knife is based primarily on the cost of materials.

drducati,
You are absolutely right about Russian/Persian influence. I learned my basic jewelry making skills in Russia.
