Manix 2 liners

I just got a manix 2 s110v, but it has no liners. I hate FRN, but I was planning to make some scales for it anyway. Anyone know where i can source some liners and hardware for it without buying a whole donor knife? If I have a spare blade laying around, I will feel compelled to make scales for it, which will leave me in the same boat I am in now: no liners.

Thanks

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you either need to manufacture the liners, or you need a G10 donor knife for its liners.

Madrookie did a LW blade swop into a standard black G10 Manix a while ago. It was not so easy to get the S110V blade out of the LW handle, you have to clamp and drill each rivet to split the casing.

This was the thread, but I see all his pictures disappeared... :(

EDIT: images did not disappear, my corporate firewall is now blocking all references to the image sites. :(

I'll just add that the construction of the Manix 2 Lightweight does not lend itself to an easy conversion. It could probably be done, but would require more than simply making full liners and new scales because of the way the ball carrier mounts in the handle. Aside from that, you might be able to take some consolation from the fact that the "stock" handle is FRCP, not FRN.

I got one already done by a member here. :)

I already got it out of the lw handle, but I really don't want to make my own liners. I guess I'll just try to pick up a cheap g10 version.
