Here is a set I recently made for a new purveyor I am working with, Fort Henry Custom Knives.
This set was photographed by Point Seven for use on the Fort Henry website.
I decided on this hawk to do someting totally different. The head is bearded, with a cutting edge slightly over 4 inches, The haft is weathered barn oak and is 21 inches long, and features woodburned carving and brass tacks, as well as a ball on the end and a forged curl finial.
The hunter is forged and aged 5160, and is around 8 inches OAL. Weathered oak scales, rawhide bolster wraps, and also a forged curl. Sheath and headcover also were made to match.

That is a spectacular set John. You're making it hard for me to decide what style and size of knife to get to match my hawk.

Thanks everyone! I was really pleased with how this set turned out.Plus it gave me the chance to do something different.Another set like this one is on order from a customer of mine!

John, you are doing some amazing things. What a sweet set.

Beautiful work John! I love sets and this one is especially nice. Great photo as well...

I am bringing this amazing set back to the top.

Eric at Point Seven did a great job with the photos and John and I hope to see the pic in one of the blade rags in the future.

I never publically Thanked John for making this set for me and I am sure we will be doing more together in the future.

Thanks John and keep up the great work!!

Thanks for bringing this one back up as I missed it the first go-round.

John, GREAT stuff as always Buddy ! These matched sets you've been doing are fantastic. I'd love to see a full blown set with a hawk and bowie in full decor fit for a chief.

And a big congrats for being featured in the Knifemakers Showcase in blade magazine.

Take care, Josh
