Maxpedition Mini Rollypoly

Does the mini rollypoly hold a 32 oz. nalgene? I just received my medium sized rolly and was quite surprised by how big it is.

Yes it does. I just wish there was some way to secure it to your bag near the bottom of the pouch.

It does, and you can even cinch it to hold the bottle in. The velcro flap barely makes it over the top. I'm with wintermute, I wish you could secure the bottom. I had it on my Falcon-II and used the bottom compression straps to keep the bottles from swinging around, but it wasn't ideal.

You mean with Molle strapping? The mid-size one has the molle loops through which I attached Tac Ties and attached it to the side of my Falcon II.

Any pics of the mini with a nalgene in it?

You can secure the top via Molle or clip, but there's nothing towards the bottom of the pouch.

...Which especially sucks on Gearslingers like my Lunada - since they carry on a bit of an angle, that Rolly-Poly flops around. I know, they're designed to roll up into a tiny bit of nothing, and to do so they can't have MOLLE webbing sewn all over it and I should've gotten a bottle holder, but those are way more expensive.

I havn't done it yet....but

I've seen pictures using 550 chord tied through the drainage gromment and looped around the molle webbing or so other attachment point. I've thought about adding a velcro tab to the bottom of the rolly pollythat you could loop around a molle strap.
