I have been gifted a Medford Praetorian G, and as I anxiously await its arrival, I have been trying to read about them. In doing so, I have developed some questions.
1) When did Medford switch to the new “six-gun” pivot instead of the two-hole spanner?
2) When did they switch to using the newer skeletonized pocket clip in lieu of the solid “MKT” bar? Or are they both available depending on what mood they are in at the factory?
3) Is the “Vulcan” finish discontinued? I don’t see it listed as a blade finish option on he MKT site.
The top picture is the one I have in the mail. As you can see it has a 6-gun pivot and the MKT engraved pocket clip. I’m told that the knife was sent back to MKT at some point where it received a new G-10 side, and it could have been swapped out then. But I’m confused about the pocket clip because when looking at them from online retailers they both seem to be available (the bottom 2 pictures are shamelessly borrowed from an online retailer).
TIA!
