Medium Espada

Was just looking at CS’s Facebook, there’s a pic of a Medium Espada. When was it offered? I don’t see any for sale now, so I’m guessing it was released a while back and discontinued. Maybe a limited run? The Espada is a beautiful blade, but I personally feel the Large and XL are just too big (for me anyway).

Not a limited run, just discontinued about 7 years ago for some odd reason. Too bad because it is such a beautiful knife. It came in the same versions as its bigger counterparts.

Do you remember what the going price for one was? I prefer a satin finish over stonewash. Too bad it was not brought back before the acquisition. Not only is it beautiful, but the design looks very practical for an edc blade. The handle looks like it would fit your hand like a glove.

Unfortunately I can't help you with that because mine I bought in Argentina one year ago at a delirious unrealistic price. It is in AUS 8 and came in a box similar to those of the custom series.

No problem, glad you were able to acquire one….I’m slightly jealous!! Take good care of that sucker!👍
 
they made a g10 medium espada and a higher end one one with bolsters and micarta handles, the blade shape on the g10 version looks different than the one on the higher end version too
 
I have been looking for a while to pick one up to complete the collection(the fancy one). Not many around. I can find the the G10 right now though.

It would be interesting to know how many of them were made. Apparently there is no public record about it. I wonder if GSM has this kind of information.

I would doubt it especially on something discontinued. I would be surprised if CS even kept records like that, I could see them keeping track of the popularity but not total numbers on all of their products. The exception being the limited pieces runs. Would love to be wrong though lol.
