Hello Members !
I have a few of Michael's knives and just love the jeweled back spacers, quality and awesome rocket actions. I sent a near new knife to Michael and he refinished the flaw on one side of blade that came to me this way on secondary market, knife is now new condition. Mr. Zieba completed repair, adjusted detent and returned my knife in less than two weeks, the action on his knives are amazing. Great guy with responding to emails and would recommend him 100%. Thanks!

Same experience here as well.
Bought one of his knives here on the exchange (G2 Joker I believe) and had an issue with centering after a few open/closing cycles.
Found that some ham handed previous owner had stripped a screw (Lnib my ass) and didn't disclose.
I emailed Michael and he got back to me the same day.
I explained the situation and made sure that he knew I'd be paying for all repairs seeing as I wasn't the original owner.
His hardware is mostly custom made I believe so I needed his assistance on this one.
He groused a little, lol, totally the artists right to do so when amateurs mess around with things, I didn't mind, just his way of expressing the dedication and effort he puts into his custom pieces.
I've owned a bunch of his work and it's all top notch.

I bought an S5 “Blue Smoke.“ Very stiff opening. I contacted Michael and he had me ship to him directly. He returned it one week later in perfect working order. Old School CS. Michael is a class act, all the way.

Odd. My experience was much different. I emailed through the Zieba website a few times asking about repair on a knife bought second hand (liner lock slipping) and got no reply. I later tried without mention of the second-hand part, and heard back quickly, requesting I send the knife with original invoice. I explained it was purchased used and wasn't expecting warranty support, i.e. I was willing to pay the cost of repair, and was told they don't accept any second hand knives, and suggested I take it up with the seller.

Who knows...maybe this is a problem-prone model? Regardless, it knocked my interest in his other models, which otherwise look pretty cool.

However, I am glad to hear some are getting support!

Sorry for your experience. Mine was purchased new from AD. Not saying you didn’t, but if there was an issue, was it revealed by seller? Did you address it with the individual? On the website, the warranty says life time. If the seller is the original purchaser, then perhaps he would be willing to assist you.

Thanks - I really am glad others have gotten good support. The seller did not note any issues, and I actually did not notice until putting the knife to use after having it for a good chunk of time. It is likely a common problem in this group; with so many choices on hand, it sometimes it takes a while to put to actual use, ha. I figured the problem may have happened with my use, so did not follow up.

It was long enough ago that it's not worth doing anything at this point; I just wanted to share my experience as a heads-up.

For what it's worth, I am also no longer a fan of liner locks!

I agree, I have 3 and have used his repair service. Great knives, great guy and good service. I dropped a M390 blade of his tip down on concrete. Tip did not chip. That's a good heat treat and it holds an edge. I've met him at a couple of shows, he always a unique deal at shows such as a different back spacer, lower price, custom bead. He gave the. kid with me a key chain.

Do thanks
My source has been DLT Trading, and they appear to have some in stock at this very moment

Thanks for looking out. I have checked them out. I’m looking for an s2 or s4 right now. I don’t think they have one. I’ll keep an eye out. Take care! If you come across anything let me know
