Microtech Nylon/Teflon Ball bearing Longevity?

So i just dusted out one of my safe queen, a Marfione Custom Sigil. After some fidgeting around, i noticed the action wasn't quite as smooth as other of my knives... maybe it will break in eventually. But then i noticed something.... it looks like some Nylon/Teflon washers they are using !!!



I was like... what is this blasphemy! But then after some digging, i learned that it is in fact Nylon/Teflon Caged ball bearing from this vid at 3:45 mark.

It reassures me a bit as i cannot disassemble this knife unless i DIY some tools. But then again, how long does these bearings last?

Lol true, but now, i intended to occasionally use it.

Should last a long time. A lot of my ZTs have nylon cages, and they're holding up fine.

Oh great! i tried to avoid like a plague teflon washers as they tend to deteriorate overtime. I hope, it's not the case with Nylon caged bearings!
