Hey guys, my birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and I want to get myself something nice, Ive never had a Microtech so this will be a new experience for me. I have been eyeing these 2 knives for a very good while! Mainly the Elite since its been out longer until they came out with the Delta (which I fell in love with. Which would you choose. Lets say money is not an issue since I am going to be getting ONE of these 2 knives but dont know which one but is the Delta really worth $90 more than the Elite? I do like the looks of the Delta a lot but then again the Elite looks really nice but comes with aluminum handles. I'm going to make this a poll and see what would you guys choose. But what are the major differences of these 2 knives? Besides that one is aluminum and the is other is g10. Any input is welcomed and would really like for you guys to chime and tell me you guy's thoughts on the knives. Thanks! So what would you choose if money were no issue? Elite or Delta?
 
90$ more and you get, g10 handles, sweet ti back spacer, adjustable pivot. its just the improved elite design, to me its worth the $90.

Is it smoother than the Elite by any chance? And hows the detent? Im leaning a little to the delta right now!
 
Anymore input? Would like to hear why some people chose the elite over the delta! :D Any good reasons?
 
I've had both and it really comes down to personal preference. If you like tip up an G10, get the Delta. Aluminum and tip down, get the Elite. My Elite was way smoother than my Delta is.
 
I handled both at a knife shop and the action on the lock of the liner lock of the elite was smoother than the framelock of the delta, the blade opened smoother too. The delta looks cooler though.
 
i chose elite because of clip point blade and that i really like the aluminum frame more than the G10. Also, having a green handle seemed cooler than just another black handled blade.
