Just wanted to give knifeswapper a high five for his fast shipping, excellent service, and most excellent pricing on a hard to find GEC #711 Bull Nose I just received. This is a second, or maybe a third purchase I made from him, and each and every time it was first class. Thanks Mike:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

They are not a preferred dealer in my book. In my case, I asked some specific questions on condition and they refused to give me specific answers. The knife was in the $300-400 range. He lost a sale.

Make sure you read their terms and conditions. They charge a restocking fee and if your knife is defective you get the choice of returning it to the factory or store credit but not a refund. However, they sell a lot of new old stock, so a return to the factory for replacement is not possible for some of their stock.

If you return for store credit, they deduct their shipping. They don't insure unless you specify it, and if USPS says it is delivered and it's not, it's your problem.

The shipping policies is why I asked some specific questions about condition, because I did not want to have to return the knife. For an expensive new, old stock knife, from a small firm, I expected more and better service.

I've had good luck with him. No problems to speak of and fast shipping. I've purchased about half a dozen knives from him so far.

Purchased from mike a few times before he stopped shipping to Canada, and worked with me on paying for an order to be shipped to my cousin. Great guy, great knives- and he even asked my stag type preference with my first order, as the stag was my graduation present to myself! I'd order as often as possible!

Always a pleasure with Mike. I only pay by money order, and he worked with me on each order. Good people at Collector Knives.

I appreciate all the kind words. My policies on warranty work / restock are clearly stated on the website for those that want a genuine interpretation. But anyone that has had any type of business before knows that you have to have good written policies in place to protect yourself when in actuality all you have to do to be successful is treat others as you would like to be treated.

For those that have actually done business with me, thank you for the positive sentiment. If I can ever help with anything, please let me know.

I've bought several knives from Mike's website and each and every transaction was perfect. Whenever I look for a knife his site is among the first I check. Keep up the good work.

He probably "refused to give you specific answers" because they knew exactly who you were, the guy who's always a huge clown to him at every opportunity. I'd have told you to pound sand. As much of a headache as you are here, I'd never do business with you either.

Mike is one of the best out there. CollectorKnives offers some of the best prices, customer service and early reserve system. Mike also does an excellent job shipping. Not to mention Mike is an integral part to this forum and even takes up the burden of getting traditional forum knives made for us.

Nothing but good luck with CK. Prices are fair and ships quickly. I’ve never had to deal with customer service, but from what I’ve read it seems the guy goes out of his way to make everyone happy.
what more can you ask for?
